Connecting Canada's Transfusion Community

The Canadian Society for Transfusion Medicine annual conferences are Canada's transfusion medical and research meeting. The Conferences provide an unparalleled opportunity for you or your organization to meet and network with Canada's leading transfusion physicians, nurses, technologists and researchers, as well as representatives from industry, government, health and non-profit organisations sectors from around Canada.

Unfortunately, due to the evolving and uncertain nature of the COVID-19 outbreak, the CSTM Board of Directors has decided to cancel the CSTM 2020 Conference that was to be held in Montreal, Quebec from May 28-31.  The health, safety, and professional obligations of the medical community are our top priority.

We want to sincerely thank all those who have been involved in planning a great program for this year's conference.  The annual conference is, and will continue to be, an integral part of CSTM activities, bringing the Canadian transfusion community together to learn, share and meet old and new friends from across the country.  The CSTM Board will be actively exploring opportunities to offer educational resources from the 2020 program virtually and through other possible mechanisms.  Stay tuned for more news in the coming months.

Registrants will be refunded any funds paid for conference registration the week of March 23, 2020.  For registrants who bundled their registration charges with a CSTM membership purchase we will refund the conference registration portion of your payment and keep your membership active for 2020.  We encourage all members to take advantage of the many continuing education materials available to members on our website at www.transfusion.ca and look forward to seeing you in Moncton, New Brunswick in 2021.
